Know what’s moving.

When you connect GitHub, DevPulse uses the fine-grained personal access token you provide to request repository metadata, commit history, pull requests, reviews, profile information, and GitHub rate-limit information for repositories the token can access.

The token is stored in the iOS Keychain. Activity history, selected repositories, preferences, refresh state, and dashboard cache are stored locally in the app’s private container. A reduced snapshot may be stored in an App Group so DevPulse widgets can render. Widgets do not receive the token and do not contact GitHub.

This information is used only to build your activity dashboard, repository views, rankings, widgets, and to refresh those views. Rankings compare repositories, not people.

DevPulse does not use your information for advertising, profiling, cross-app tracking, or analytics.

DevPulse has no developer-operated backend, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or cloud database. The developer does not receive, sell, rent, or share your GitHub token or dashboard data.

Requests are sent directly from your device to GitHub. GitHub processes those requests under its own terms and privacy statement. Apple and your network provider may also process technical information as part of operating iOS and delivering network traffic.

Data remains on your device while you use DevPulse. Disconnecting your account removes the saved token, preferences, dashboard cache, widget snapshot, and pending background refresh task. Removing the app also removes data held in its app container, subject to normal iOS backup and deletion behavior controlled by Apple and your device settings.

Background refresh is optional. If enabled, the token’s Keychain accessibility is adjusted so iOS can refresh after the device has been unlocked once following a restart. If disabled, DevPulse returns the token to foreground-only access. iOS decides when background tasks run.

This marketing site is shipped without cookies, accounts, forms, analytics, or advertising scripts. The hosting and network providers used to deliver the site may process standard request information such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps for security and delivery.

DevPulse is a developer productivity tool and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may be updated if the app’s data practices change. A revised effective date will be posted here. Material changes will be reflected in the app or its store listing where appropriate.
